The interview is about a new piece — an edition of three photographs, one of which will be auctioned in October by Christie’s in London with an estimate of £50,000-£70,000 — made for the conservation charity Blue Marine Foundation. They show her wearing a red dress, standing in the ocean at Fire Island near New York, “giving unconditional love to the water”. “Oceans are dying, fish are going extinct and it’s getting worse,” she says. “Look at the Maldives, the coral reef is going to disappear in the next 15 to 20 years if we don’t take action.”
